Take care of your ears, It's very important. What if you wake up one day and lost your hearing?

sorry to say but you'd pretty much have to grow some damn balls and deal with it.

People go through so much worse shit every day, and they deal with it!

Get over yourselves and enjoy the fact your alive at all!

At least you have had an opportunity to enjoy music, some people never have had this chance!

Listening to what if's and people whinge abouthearing loss just really pisses me off,or whingeing about anything, lifes a journey and experience, take what comes and roll with it... why fight something you can't win? DEAL WITH IT!           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

I mean seriously…

An example…

29 years ago my fiancées Dad went into hospital to watch his daughter be born, and due to a mistake by both the gynaecologist and anaesthetist his wife was killed and his daughter born with cerebral palsy.

On supposedly the happiest day of his life he lost his partner of 15 years and had to give up his career etc. to raise a daughter with a physical disability in a foreign country with no family or support.

On top of which he then passed away in a snorkelling accident at aged 59 in Thailand, leaving said daughter with disability with no family. Not one family member left.

And you are complaining about permanent ringing in your ears?

Perspective people!

Get the fuck over it and deal with life!

As I said I get tinnitus at times to the point where I’m nausea and spewing, and passing out!

The only way I deal with it is to lie down in a room with all external sound blocked and lights off!

But I just deal with it!

Grow up!

Nice thread. I personally will stop myself a bit. I think it's all about how you adapt your ears with the volume. Sometimes when I play on high volume for some minutes, it becomes normal to me I even want it higher, but when I get my headphones out of my head I notice how high was that!

Buddha Monkey very sad story but if you look it like that you have worse and worse and worse...!. In this case loss of hearing is the worst thing to happen because of not being 'a little careful' with the volume.           http://soundcloud.com/morphous

I have also lost a bit, so i take care, no more eadphones when not needed, safe levels when mixing and not to close to speakers at parties.

Problem for me is no good earplugs around, only can find the usual foam ones which are pretty shitty. Anyone has some info on where to buy good earplugs that have worldwide shipping?           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

I also have a small problem with my left ear which seems to hear less than the right one, especially in parties i cant listen to people who try to speak to me from the left ear when the music plays while i have no problem listening to them when they speak from my right ear,i guess it has to do something with the frequencies.

The reason of my problem is probably the fact that i listen every night music through my small ear headphones before going to sleep for about an hour.Doctors say its the worst thing you can do to your ears.

I have limited this bad habbit of mine and listen music mostly through my pc speakers which makes far less damage to my ears,i suggest to everyone to do the same if possible.

P.S Many famous artists in the psy trance scene have big problems with their ears and some of them even decline playing dj sets any longer due to this fact.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!
