Recently ive downloaded Dblue Glitch which is a great vst effect, and one of its effects is a timestretcher unit, with a divisor and amount parameters.
Im looking for some vst that handles only that, for automated timestretching. I would have just used Glitch, but its based on loops and hard to make long automations on it.
Anyone?           Dressed to kill you look so right... I am drunk with lust tonite.

heizenbox or buffer override should do the job

you can also, instead of use patterns in glitch, you can automate it to turn of the stretch effect for the time that you want... check it.

Cant understand what you mean
If only i could stop the loop thing in Glitch it would be perfect... Problem is i wanna stretch for a long long time and each time the Glitch "pattern" ends and start again, and so my stretch skips... Hope you understand.
Cant understand how to do this in buffer override really

Well, id do it, but as i said i want to automate the timestretch divisor and amount parameters, and i dont know how to do this to a wav in FL.
On Glitch its so simple and effective...           Dressed to kill you look so right... I am drunk with lust tonite.

ahh oki
right click your sample (while still in file brwser) "open in new granulizer channel"
one of fl best tools at least 8 automations possible

one more thing is to put audio channel (below the pattern screen) and automate the pitch.. you can actually see the .wav length changing (this is pitch not exacly timestretch but also cool thingo)

Thanks Sattel, the granulizer thing is very helpful, i can get the result i wanted (sort of )
The pitch automation is known to me, and also not what im looking for but thanks.
Now about the granulizer, i can achieve a nice automated stretch with automating the grain space knob. But i do not understand the Effects and Transients sections... If anyone could help...           Dressed to kill you look so right... I am drunk with lust tonite.

Do you mean on Glitch?
Not hard at all to solo the stretch, the problem is that Glitch is a loop based plugin and so everytime the loop endz, it refreshes the sound and ruins my longgggggggg stretch.           Dressed to kill you look so right... I am drunk with lust tonite.

hei friend.
if u want that the granulator makes long streches u must chek the FREEZE function of them. in FL it has one. the KTgranulator I've posted has it too. also make it with the maximum amount of grains. so that the strech is smooth. learn the freeze functions of the granulators. thay make exactly what u want. strech infinitely (until u unchek the button) the sample so u can apply as much pitch, skew, delay, reverse and all other functions of a common granulator, as u wich

hey there boys!
the KGT Granulator is a good option, i used to tweak this thing a lot not so long ago, but since its free is pretty hard control, when you take the pitch out of zero (in the case you are automating) it is very hard to set it back to 0 and have the original sound for a little while.
Once again ( i'm not an Ableton seller ) i will advice to use its glorious multitrack/sequencer: Live.
in the Impulse sampler, for ex., you've got the strech control with 2 types of intesity in every 8 sampler slots. You also have a Global Time Strech parameter that controls all the samples strech at the same time, you can make it random and change it by velocity, pretty nice.
Also the Grain Delay fx has a great control on pitch, its like the KGT Granulator but well made, heheh you can respect the original sample if you lower the dry/wet and the pitch to zero, but you can tweak the hell out of it by just moving a couple of knobs.

hope it helped, cyas!
