Hey i am the artist TICKETS or BRETHREN im from SOUTH AFRICA but i currently live in GERMANY,, i teach online cubase lessons over skype.. and also i can give tips for free to anybody that needs assistance in moderation of course:P

Dont see this topic having much to do with Timecode records itself... anyway there some news 
we have some compilations in the pipeline ... and will release on CDs again ...
First one of the batch will be a compilation " Android Wave" by Tickets featuring many collaborations with artists such as Hujaboy, Earworm, Abomination, Terrafractly among others...
Also there are an Acribo Chronicals II and Tokoloshe Tales II in the making and some EPS in the pipeline by Lemurians, Rabdom L, Sketch (aka Julian from Digital Talk) and others...
furthermore we have opened a bandcamp acount where we will add sold out releases again digitally for the first time

Tickets is the solo project created in 2002 by Josef-Ashton Summs. Most of his time school was invested in the music department where he studied piano, flute, guitar. He studied to grade 8 royal schools of london classical music theory .After graduation day 2001, and the year that followed from then. He was subjected to the “norm” of modern genres of music from pop,rock, reggae to electronic. This was the opening of another side of his imagination. That of ideas which persistently flooded his mind. From there “Tickets” materialised into something at that stage he couldn’t even explain. It was not trance and nor was it breakbeat…it was something much more melodic, something that eventually spawned into the sound we know as “Tickets” today. But the gap between these two movements (2001 – 2003) was totally experimental…
Tickets has released music on many lables.To name a few Timecode, Beyond Logic, Nexus-Media, Spectral.His music has been known to be full on and dark at some points. But his interest mostly is to create melody, lots of meticulously placed sounds that in a whole create winding rhythms and very unusual leads.
He is currently living in Marburg Germany where he is writing music for the time being.
