High sleepwalkers ,producerz & other invizible music friends!
i'm workin now on my old music makes fun after a year of total break.(Imagine avarage tempo 130 bpm rolling break beats horror samples tongue twisting in full time with two djs that scratch like pershings in long shatterhand cutting parts)
Would love to make a proper nuendo beat or to make it to the end.
Well i dunno what the fuck is goin on - i have lots of samples own-cutted from soundtracks for my song and then timestretch it to 2 bars and atfirst it fits.
When duplicatin there is suddenly a very tiny empty space inbetween when zoomin it in to the max.. ????
I cant timestretch it to the exactly right place to correct it.A tiny empty space is always visible .f@@k. This is a no go.
Never had this probs with timestretch before.
Woul love to make this one tune ready as a refreshment to my technoid
psyexperiments, anybody know what to set correct? Which preference or sth like that.. Havent found anything on the search & excuse moi 4 bad english.
Cheers

Thank you for help Makus.
Unfortunately this is not the problem,i checked it up but this is exactly as you mentioned.
Its frustratin a bit when you have inspiration & the moment and cannot work on.
There is always somethin not alright.I will make a snapshot later.Dunno why even some rex drum loops files are not perfectly to zero.I rarely use rex files but this time have a nice loop which wanted to slice up and stuff ,but even this ting is not correct in time.
Always a bit more so they kinda overlap on each other. And my samples are too short or too long like do what ya want you wont get me in perfect time.
Spooky system here. Damn.

Cubase always did that for me when I time-stretched something... either it would make a tiny margin either too long or too short for the space. I just got in the habit of correcting it by drawing in an empty box next to it, bouncing the two together, and then just quantize-cutting with the scissors. After that I can just duplicate and duplicate again without having that problem.

Thats a way Axis - I use it now too.Thank you a lot.
But nevertheless its strange to do it so I never noticed any problems with it before.I used it now on a file succesfully but that sample begins on 2 and is easier to edit as some orchestral files which are kind of too long or rex files .. dont want to get shorter by timestrech for some unknown reason here.

i think this was a known bug in cubendo. it's fixed in C5, and maybe even was fixed by C4.

no, that's because of snapping.

i think you are right. i never had this problem myself, but i remember reading some threads about people complaining about this (here and on other forums). but searching for this now, all i can find is threads with the same resolution (snap off.... i.e., user error). so it was a known bug, but mostly for those who don't RTFM.

I read at least 5-10 manuals at one period of time, always at least a book at a time and many sides in the internet (tutorials ,isra etc) Then not to forget the vid tutorials and stuff.Business each day or almost each.
And the simple cubase book got a few hundreds sides to read.Thats a task for years to know really good this sequencer. You will always forget sth in the first years for sure.
