i just recently upgraded from Sx 2 to Sx3..everything seemed fine until i tried to time stretch an audio sample..
here's how i always do it & it usually works..i select the left & right locators, then i right click the audio sample, select time stretch..then i click on set to locators range..but when i press process for some reason the audio file becomes shorter than the locators range..
its really weird i tried opening a new project & doing it there..same thing..please help!

You can just click on the arrow and choose
"Sizing applies time stretch"
With that type of arrow you can just manually stretch the audio sample to fit the size you want (don´t forget to turn it back to normal arrow when you finish)

Theres a new timestretch in cubase3 thats supposed to be really good.
Like yer man says click on the arrow on the ttolbar and hold down the mouse and the option thats says sizing applies time stretch. You can no stretch a sample like a piece of elastic.
Otherwise you can right click on the sample and select process > time stretch.
~I think thats the really high quality one but not sure.
It is ridiculous to see cubase and fruity loops as competitors. Although there are overlaps they are different programmes that are usful for differentthings . You know you can rewire fruity loops into cubase ? They are not competitors but work in tandem. |
