Time Stretch In Cubase

Sometimes when i start to roll one of the ends of a sample, it makes the time stretch automaticly (thats what i want). But most of the time i have to enter the timestretch menu and start writing the percentage of the new sample etc....

How do I make it to stretch it like i want (by dragging the borders)?
Is there any difference between the two time stretches?

If you are using SX 3 then you just change the arrow to 'sizing applies timestretch' & then you just drag the sample to the size you want it to be..there's a snapshot of it below:
