Mahasuka from Intact Instinct goes under his real name Peter Hollenbach now and plays dark progressive house. He is releasing as Disco Slickers together with SBK these days and he runs a really good label, Save to Disc.

Everything on that label has been great so far.           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

hehe lol Sensient...
i mean, we are all geeks or we woudn't be posting here, but at the same time, how can we ever come up with the words to describe what we hear? esp. when we don't all speak the same language...
sooooo, yes a point can be made that certain artists mentioned are not progressive, but i think its hard enough to just split trance into progressive vs full on...there's no way we can start classifying as 'psychedelic tribal minimal' (no offense superglue: i appreciate your effort to define some artists, but my interpretation of progressive is just anything that isn't fullon. for me fullon is formulaic, and progressive is anything that deviates from that formula...)

btw i don't understand why so many disrespect shiva chandra's subsonic album? i admit that i'd never listened to him b4 (tho i do now own auricular). but me and all my friends thought his latest one totally killed! big deep beats that arent the typical rhythms with so many layers and very progressive song structure...what's not to love? <grin>

peeeeace
