I've been noticing that a large amount of people on isratrance are complaining that music nowadays is not good as it was or else crap!Very rarely we are listening to a good album! (I totally agree)So why are producers producing this crap?
Are they making music for kiddos and freaks?
Did they loose their mind?!
The funny thing is that once in a festival (although many on isra.are complaining) everyone (apart from me and few others) seem to enjoy them selves!
Is that because they're loaded with drugs and don't give a shit about music?
BOQ...!I know nothing....

The reason they produce what you would define as ”crap” (and I think I have a good idea what artists and labels you are referring to) is because it’s what’s a big part of the crowd wants If nobody wanted it, it wouldn’t get released, and they wouldn’t be booked for parties around the globe every weekend. Constructive criticism is of course always welcome, but I think you should just accept that there is an audience out there for the music you don’t like, and instead of complaining over something you can’t do anything about on a large scale anyways, you should instead do your best to improve and promote the music and ideas you like – organize parties, make/DJ music yourself etc.

Does this mean you are part of this crowd (Moderator)
And by the way I do dj and I produce music too but I did not yet produce anything good enough.
The problem is that most of the "artists" nowadays release their stuff before it's (at least good enough)

thats becoming more and more ridiculous ....

hahahahahaahahaha
first we say ok lets not download free music because we should support the artists .. then when the aartists become good and earn money from the music they make we say ... they earn too much to be good artists ... they are commercial ....
how are we gonna get out of this circle ?

You are rite. People are idiots. It's just a part of life. Not everyone will ever be happy. Once someone starts making good money people call them 'commercial' and blow them off as sellouts. Sad.
I will tell you one thing tho and I've said it before, CD are (soon to be) a thing of the past. If artists want to make money in this business they must embrace downloading services and lots of touring.
I work in porn and do you think DVD and VHS sales are where the real money is at? No fucking way, almost EVERYONE is downloading, even downloading DVDs. Thats why our industry is one step ahead of the game (unlike a lot of the music industry) and has already set up services a long time ago to offer downloads. Next thing is mobile. PEople wont need computers in the future to get media.
Im telling you. Downloading is the future and anyone blind to that fact will fail.

No.1 - I excuse my self with Moderator for my rough reply! Sorry mate.

Apart from that I beleive that the major problem nowadays are the record labels cause before they used to have professional listeners and only the best music used to be released.
Nowadays record lables are accepting everything comes through so that encourages new upcoming artists to have the gutts to realease their work before the quality is good enough!

OT:how come in these posts people always complain about "the" artists, and "the" music, generalizing all psy-trance artists into one big bunch who sold out and write shitty music. If you have a problem with a particular artist(s), or sub-genre, dont be a pussyshit and actually post their name/label, its your opinion and your entitled to it.

well the fact you say most of them release crap then it's your inidivual opinion... I'm not into present psy trance either and don't like the overrated fullon explosion but many people do like it and aren't kids...

there is indeed an auidience for such a music and when I hear it a psyparty I will dance to it even when it's not my style just because it is still the concept goa...

It's the fullon way or the highway

Does any one knows what the word Trance means?
I think very few know!
And anyway,no I am not gonna mention any direct names of artists who I dislike cause that would be no.1 unfair & no.2 the list would be too long.
What pisses me off the most is that the more famous and experienced artists in the scene are producing the worst music so the new crowd and even the new artists tend to follow them.
What I can tell you is that in last years German fullmoon in 5 days the only intelligent artist I heard were the following:

Star.X
Silicon Sound
Altom
&
Wrecked machines (although their productions are better than their live)

Respect to these 4 names for giving me pleasure!
