this is what progressive trance is about and ticon is definetly progressing. there may not be the same grinding psychedelia delivered with progressive beats in this album (as was with previous releases), but still, this is a class of its own and induces very different feelings and states.

U make me wanna drink more,In the dirt,Poem for granny , In stereo and Six years after are my favorites from the album, and all smashing pieces. very very well executed album. ticon continues to amaze me with the quality releases. go get it!

Too fast and trancy for my personal taste, but great production and atmosphere.           Threshold Productions

Three albums from Ticon now that all manage to be, and do, something different.

A bloody catchy, groovy and instantly lovable album. Utterly infectious tunes that will put a smile on your dial. Not my usual style preference, but I dig the past Ticon efforts, and when they're in control they manage to make this electroey/clubby 80's themed excursion thoroughly enjoyable.

Variety is the spice of life and my collection is all the better for having this included.

Brilliant.

heard it only once so far and I didn't really like the general feel of it...but I'll give it a couple more chances since I really love the Ticon sound...but this is what struck me with a surprise

Sonkite - Focus (Shiloh Remix)

vs

Ticon - Six Years After

am I the only one who noticed the similarity of these two tracks?           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

I didn´t hear this remix for Focus(wich is a nice tune)... But I still can´t stop remembering Reefer Decree´s "NightVision" tune when I hear Six Years After... So similar sounds and feellings.           LOADING...

no i was thinking the same. They both got that lush bass line with the key chnages. Both top tunes though IMO!           http://www.facebook.com/GlenC.IbogaRecords

on the subject on tunes sounding similar, the melody in "the analouge H" is taken from (it is the same!) a logic bomb track (i think this is the one, but i dont have it any more!) called 'two brains' which was on movers and groovers on tip.

but theres more! that melody itself was no by logic bomb, but taken ( by logic bomb, famous for using others melodies) from a track by red herring on the old uk trance label platipus....

The melody in track 9 ( The Analogue H ) Is taken from "Union Jack - Track 1 or 2 (There will be no armagedon album) " that came out on Platipus Recs.
Such a qaulity tune and what a remake of those old sounds

The melody on Analogue H is from an Old Union Jack track from their album "There will be no Armageddon" on Platipus Records, I think its the track Cactus. The melody on Two Brains by Logic Bomb is different, doesnt sound like this at all....           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

In that case I really wait to hear the album. Cactus was and is one of my oldest favorite tracks of all time, and altho I am not really in favor of ripping melodies of other artists, it can come out pretty cool if done with a good taste.           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman
