hullooo well I thought i'd say about this outdoor some of us went to at the weekend.

I was on the last train up to Kings Lynn ready to head off to the coast where I was gonna dance on the beach under a ludicrously large orange moon to great music, but then the party was busted.

Usually that would have been the end of my post, but in this case we were veeerrrrryyyy lucky. One of the organisers is pals with this dude who has a farm somewhere in East Anglia, and the party was moved there. We rejoiced, hopped in a taxi and headed towards the new venue.

Ok so as per usual at these things the night time was pants.... for some reason the sound system was put inside a bombshelter like piece of corrugated iron... not exactly very shanti hmmmm and the sun was just coming up. Luckily after a great deal of nagging (thx Bella!!) it was finally moved outside. For me the party started at this point.

I am really embarrassed that I cant remember much about the music... even though i was sober during the party (in the eyes of the law). During the night the DJs were hidden behind the speakers, and I was outside, so I have no idea who was playing when. During the day I remember especially Vadim (ex-resonoise i guess). He was playing EXACTLY the proggy music I wanted to hear..... I really enjoyed his set. I remember Ben was playing some good tunes too... hmmm i am not sure what either person's DJ name is.....

It was a baking hot day and I had a snooze in the sun.... Also there was a barbecue which afforded some protein.... The party was still continuing when I caught the last train back to london at 8pm or so....

Ok so I enjoyed this party a whole lot - it was fairly good as a party, but was awesome considering we nearly ended up with nothing! Mostly i enjoyed it cos i had the chance to meet some friends I hadnt seen for a while, and met quite a few friendly new people too (more than usual i think)....
