YES!!! thats what I'm talking about! ehehe cooool!! I was sure some dark artist out there have use it cuz I've percieved this bass. Its much more overdrived without using overdrive. Playing with the ADSR it gaves some strange results. anuway it must be "tuned" very well.
@illuions: the last note of this 3 u make a bit larger.. so that the sound evolves

Er, actually I checked it out, and that Psykovsky track actually has like 5 tiny bass notes in between each kick.

I really had to slow it down and count them, it's sounds really weird and I like it. Here's like 8 bars of it:

Uh.. each to their own. But that is seriously nightmarish and it sounds horrible. You can't have bounce, or even follow whats going on with a bassline that is effectively going at ~600bpm
Sounds like an instant receipe for a total acid spin out. |

the only problem i see with this is on such small note the envelope on the bass has a chnace to do nothing really... it seems like u end up with just fast attack clicks and shortass cycles.
not saying its bad, but for this u can just use some sample, its not like much harmonic content is pronounced with such a fast hit.

actually this sample is not representing at all what i was trying to say.. this is bassline made from 6 1/32T (triola, they are 5 cuz the first one is eaten by the kik)...
its totaly diferent concept
i'm speaking for 1/16 devided in 3. the lenght is still 1/16 ( a bit smaller of course) but broken into 3 pieces. also as they are 3 1/96 there s enough room to make the last note a bit longer so this envelopes can evolve.
