ok, just had some trouble at first, but it does work fine with Logic. <whew> all in all a pretty cool piece of gear

well, just cost comparisons. for a monophonic synth, there are lots of options in the cheap vintage gear market. the PE is pretty nice, but 2 grand is alot, it is only 4 voice polyphony, and pricewise I think a used A6 offers more. however, i havent demoed eithers sounds so cant speak in that regard...

looks interesting, but not a lot of info on it

I really hope that your comments aren't directed towards me. for one your going to get in trouble here making statements like 'if...then you just dont know your synths..'

the appeal of the TI is the integration with the host sequencer           Gamma Riders EP out now on iTunes and Amazon.com!

I ve got my Virus TI Keyborard over a year ago. Man..... We all had issues with pops and clicks. It took Access to fix it over a year but now it sounds wicked.. Best hardware I ever owned. I already sold my NordLead3 keyboard cos I didnt need it any more. TI has lots of possibilities, all you need is free time to play with it. I assure you that you wont regret now. Best syth ever!

I know you're probably already getting the SL down by now Daleks, but make sure to read through the manual. There is a section about novation's logic behind why the presets are set up how they are. I use the same idea to set up all mine, it makes alot of sense and I know that a certain set of knobs are going to control a certain set of parameters on all my synths...
worth checking it out anyway.           ~Airyck~

hi psyvelation..

yeah i definitely dig that i.e. same functions in the same place. only thing with Logic Pro is that it default 'automaps' most plugins 'in the order in which the application presents the parameters'. I think this is specific to the way it works with Logic Pro, and basically doesn't follow any neat logic. So everything is all over the place for different synths, making it so I do have to do a good deal of re-programming. No worries though... think I got it worked out. Also its great having hands on for the Logic plugs without having to do an Quick Learn every time/song

On a side note, I broke down and got a TI rack. And arg! man is it killer! I am not disappointed, and think I now have the best of both worlds!
