I listened to Broken Toy and said man theese are basses! And now i got first time listening to the Commercial Hippies stuff and im in like shock! These are the ultimate basses!
The Commercial Hippies - Not Human
i think it is the VB-1, well eqed, no questions here, just silently listening to the wonderful music
The Electric Ant - First Run (Commercial Hippies Rmx)
aaaaaaaaaa now this one i listened to i nearly got a hearth attack crazy dancing in the studio! I want to find out HOW...what synth that is? I wont get rest until i will know, and if i die my spirit will visit the Commercial Hippies studio every night and scare the truth out of them!
So if anyone knows...please...tell me...i hawent sleep for days...

eq is a wonderfull thing if you know how to use it well.....but i dont understand the question....
you want someone to tell you what synth it is?.....it doesnt matter what synth it is it matters what guy is using it and how well he understands his eq'ing.
all i can say as many people told me when i was starting off......experiment

Man, if anyone still believes that, their elitism is not only passe', it's dangerous to their art. |

Of course its possible to get good sound out of vst's it depends on the skills, to get a fat bassline i do it with audiorealism bassline wich is a almost exact tb-303, i do my 1/116 notes add some waves maxbass, quadrafuzz and that's all ready to rock on..give this vst synth a try |
