i`ve been getting into this guys music,typically obsessively/enchanting , fairly complex,waves of synthisized sounds,unique in their way, i went and got most of his material in just a few days, anyone else checked him out? |

I think Thom Brennan gets overlooked because he's not really thought of as a member of "the scene" as it is typically thought of around these parts, but he certainly does make wonderful deep, ethereal music. Sometimes his music tends a little too toward the truly ambient side of the spectrum for my tastes but he keeps things varied and intricate enough to be stimulating nonetheless. He certainly has an identifiable sound and his songs create a great sense of atmosphere. I second your props! |

I have Silver, Signals In Moonlight, and Vibrant Water, all quite exquisite, kind of like Steve Roach with a melodic approach....
would recommend for deeper listening
seems like we have similar taste Alienc

I have a copy of Thom Brennan - 'Mist' in my collection. Brennan's balances low end melodies with high frequency tingly bell and insect melodies creating an illusion of being in a misty forest.
check out this guys music (free), influenced by Brennan, with guitar licks...sounds crazy, yet it works
