lately i hear many artists (most of them produce south african tunes) are using the same bass VST...
Abomination's new album is the perfect example...
Does any1 got a clue on how to reach this kind of bass?
Which VST? etc'.. |

Stop asking which VST. With really basic knowledge in synthesis, you can make it in every VST.
I really doubt that they all use the same.

i wouldn't say that, you can't make the same bass sounds in cronox and trilogy per example, they have pretty different styles. but yeah i doubt this new trend is always the same synth, but the same method altough you can still feel that some of the synths are different.
anyway abomination uses logic sampler with some waveform he has he also uses trilogy sometimes too. Pyrex :: Traveling without moving

i hate this bassline, it makes the track sound thin. i donno why everyone start to use this bassline more and more. maybe because the producers are getting lazy or try to sound like benny benassi. this type of bassline can make almost any synth. personally i think this bassline is disgusting. |
