Psy-trance is not dead.
Dubstep is another dance genre that is different than psy-trance... in very specific and important aspects. Non the less some tunes are rocking, the old instrumental (as in real instruments), even more so.
Dubstep is not the future of psytrance, especially not because some dark psy producer(s) dropped some tunes in a trance set.

Yep. Every major EDM forum that is not psy trance based that I have been to generally have a negative attitude. Whether it's the opinion that psy is just full of dirty hippies or that the music is just well crap.
I was recently at a gig with one of the biggest DJs in the non-psy progressive scene, had a chat with him (he's been DJing since the 80s), and he laughed and said goa n psy had it's time over a decade ago & what the scene is now is just something the rest of the music world laughs at.
