OMG I thought this was posted as a joke but I've played the video and it's not bad at all... acoustic trance “I think I've discovered the secret of life - you just hang around until you get used to it.”

trance is everything and everywhere...its a state of mind not a style...stereotyping certain music as trance while other as non-trance or not trance, creates an expectation out of the state of trance and as a result you create a mental block that prohibits your mind-brain to experience trance...without these mental blocks or "genres" and "styles" your mind will be more receptive and it will be easier for you to experience trance.
the trance frequencies are present in all audio visuals- voice, instruments, moving images, paintings and so on...its just a matter of raising your antennae and tuning in.

that's so true, when you stop thinking styles and genres, you get a deeper understanding of music. when enjoying a music genre or even a subgenre of a music style a lot, some people get so passionate about it and in the end looks like they see this style as their favorite football team, not music. i don't critisize football fans at all, but when is about music it doesn'thave to be that way, i believe..
let's unblock our minds the more we can people, and let's go everywhere, lots of fun out there got to have our share!

Many people in the Middle East used to go into trance states by listening to a singer called Umm Khalthoum. A single song would last for almost 2 hours and her presence on stage was very powerful.
Here is a clip of one of her songs, and that's only the intro.. she only sings at the end of the intro

70's trance:
Oh btw, if you're listening to a youtube clip and think the sound quality is bad, try adding:
&fmt=18 to the url, then youtube will use the cd-quality soundtrack (if one is available) instead of the low-bandwidth version.
