Working for 2 hours without being able to produce anything good and frustration levels going up and then suddenly you hit a good riff and you're all happy!

no but seriously, the only thing from my experience that can easily get rid of that anger is, go out for a walk somewhere nice and calm, get ur head on other thoughts, and for gods sake do NOT listen to music while doing so.
it will absolutely not be "listen and enjoy" believe me.
its just.. an advice, and when you get back to what you were doing you might actually have something as a blank keyfame.

4 hours of totally frustrating loopitis, and when u get fed-up, leave the room, have a little talk with your wife explaining how frustrating it is, sit down on the sofa, but your head is still tweaking, u sit down, THE DAW! badadbum! everything's flowing uuuhhuuuu!!
