I am using version 5.0 on pc.
I ve lost an entire project due to power supply reasons that i didnt back it up.I got the msg "this is not a Logic's 5 song" when i opened again the system.
I opened the .00 logic's backup but it gave me another error,i can't remember what it says...
It gave me recovery options but it didnt seem to work either.Crashed somehow.
Is there any way to open this file with another way?
It is 2,5 mb file ... |

it wouldnt work...well it didnt for me.
had lost quite a few started tracks like that...and could never open them again.really fuckin annoying indeed!!maybe didnt try hard enough?they're deleted now anyways...
seems to happen after bad crashes, dont know why tho
hope it'll turn out ok for u ana3imandros

if its the same error im suspecting i think the file is dead.. It happened to me before after a bad crash just like andre said.. but keep trying other ways.. |

I've lost a lot of songs that way too... Unfortunately I think that you have pretty much lost what you were working on. May I suggest that you save multiple copies of what you make. Each time I change something in a song, I save as to a new file...

the .00 backup files...
what about .01? .02? ..... .08 .09 ?
Every project must have at least 10 last versions if you really into backups.
Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...

Every time I save it, I save it as a new file, just in case I need to go back and change how I did something...

Is there an autosave function to backup file that i didnt notice?
By the way,yesterday i upgraded my system with a 3gz into an assus.
Almost all files done with my old 1.7 Ghz cpu are not working propertly.
It searches for the files,as usual, and then
redirects me to Mictosoft to report my mistake,Co0l!
I changed the drivers settings to "none" and loaded the project.
all Vsts were crossed(non working).
Saved as the project.
I changeD the drivers settings into
M-AUDIO EASI,reloaded the driver,closed Logic and opened the file with the new driver...
It played for a bit and then
crashed...
Opened again the project , reloaded Asio driver...
he was loading the vst's and when finally controls again the Asio driver (it does it on start/finish of loading)...
Crashed.
I suspect thats the reason for upgrading to mac,or just downgrate to pc's 1.7 cpu to finish my project.
