Hi all, I wish to make this kind of kick which sounds so damn rounded fat and punchy in contrast to mine who are ok but not as punchy as this, so I was wondering if someone can please share their knowledge on doing so?

That's kind of a retro kick you found there x)
I'm a fan of those kicks, they're very psychedelic indeed.

("but Oni, is psychedelic kicks even a thing?") SHUT UP OFC THEY ARE.

I have a very abstrack way of creating kickdrums since i use Sylenth1 and then filter them with a phaser before EQ.

They key is to get a higher pitch on the high-end of the kick, have a decent decay on it for the kick so it's not just a tapping sound, and still have an overall fat lowend, which the phaser will provide you.

Uhhhh... i should make a tutorial for this.. .. . . .

I said I like it dirty, not muddy.

You can create a kick like this using BazzISM, and then I would add FabFilter Saturn, a bit compression and EQ. I would explain the whole BazzISM process but I think it's better if you find out for yourself experimenting, it's very easy and you'll find many usefull things playing, but as tip: Start @5000hz, end @50hz, sweep @80ms / 0.40. I think that would be a good staring point. Cheers!           ProtoDrive https://soundcloud.com/protodrive

depend the kicks, require different eq or even no eq.. depending what u gor for and if it sound good with the bassline.

But often you have to check the freqs in the mid/highs , to get the attack of the kick the way u want and also the freq in the low mids
