Absolutely fucking true from my perspective and experience... But then I blame myself for not deluding myself anymore that there is such a thing as a psychedelic community, full of enlightened people striving towards a better future. It was soo much easier when I could just take the drugs, dance the night away, and pretend that everything was going to be alright in the morning....           www.youtube.com/trancevisuals

Two weeks ago I was at a great party. 2000 beautiful people in a secret tiny valley in the mountains. It was 8am when the cops closed it (just like good old times). We sat there till 9.30 talking and chilling out. It was HOT. Like 38 degrees Celsius already so early in the morning. We decided it's time to split as there was a big climb back to the cars and it wasn't going to get cooler. Sweating and steaming with all our gear on the way up we met this girl, a party goer like everyone else, standing there with a glass of ice cubes and handing out ice cubes to the climbers.
The act itself more then the ice cube made the rest of the way up much easier.

I have tons more stories. Will try to add them here now and then.

Btw, bitter people suck. So stop being bitter. Do better or be quiet (just an advice, of course).

the existence of hope.

if something exists, there is always hope that it will find the right way to go, because all opportunities and doors are open. even if it has been going the wrong way for a while.

but if it stops to exist, then even the hope will be dead.

this is what makes me glad that it exists.

it makes me glad to see that the people who are active in the scene in any way ( and not only the 100000 djs), are realizing things and refuse to play the game of those who have the " word". but nowadays you dont see this at gigs, you see it elsewhere - for example you see other activities of those people, you hear their philosophy of life, you observe their social engagement.then you know with whom you have to do.

i relate alot to the first story mentioned here - in many parties i went to in israel there was someone in a wheelchair who always was given a space to "stomp" and everyone was sharing whatever they had with him and just do the best to make him feel like an integral part of the party - especially when they put him up on the dj stand

also, alot of non party related activities like fundraisers, doing things for the community (not that common) etc.

ive been more exposed to these kinds of activities as our little tribe expanded

i fully and honestly believe this scene is very special and has some unique people in it that are different from the majority... in a good way

Thanks moondoggy, I was thinking that as well. I was thinking Finland, but Oklahoma sounds pretty legit too

Because for many years dancing and listening to psy is the best thing I have done in Sundays. Because of the vibe and the nice people I have met. Because of the epic times with friends. Because of the great music that has become the soundtrack of my life.
