Hey! My friend is looking up monitors for DJ'ing
And i think he settled for: "Active monitors" Since he isnt opening a club or anything lol.

THESE!!

His upcoming studio room is going to be pretty small.
And it's supposed to be quite budget'y for now.

Any options?

Eventually KRK Rokit RP-5 G2
or
M-Audio Studiophile BX D2 ?            http://soundcloud.com/li-fe

I said I like it dirty, not muddy.

You don't need monitors for djing. You just need speakers, an amplifier, a decent mixer and 2 players (laptop, cds or vinyl).           soundcloud.com/supergroover

Doesn't really matter for dj'ing, any speakers will do just fine.

You don't really need monitors for mixing. I'd suggest investing in good quality stereo speakers instead. Monitors IMHO are for production.           Cuntus Maximus.
