i have not really heard any mention of trance events going on in VA (touch samadhi has done one party just inside va on the nc state line, but that was on the opposite [west] side of the state). from norfolk_va, your best bet would be to look for a small happening or two in either washington dc, baltimore, or philadelphia (about 3-4 hours drive). if you are feeling more adventurous, then youcan always make the 6+ hour drive to nyc or asheville_nc..

yeah man look out for a big party in Philly or NY and either drive or take the train there. 6 hours really is nothing.
