Alot of people complaining and stuff about how crappy the scene is getting nowdays..
i wonder what year was the best for You when it comes to release-wise. Best albums, compilations & lables. The golden year or whatever.
personaly i like how it is right now. Mayby abit to much releases with not so carefully picked tunes here and there but there is always good stuff coming out also everynow and then.
But i must say 2001 was a great year
massive releases that year imo

its not very hard to find golden years for compilacion`s .. 2002-2005 were golden years for me ..wicked psytrance ... pure twisted stuff ...
i personally liked Ketuh Records,Stone Age,Spectral,Timecode...
but also there are some stuff comming comming last years that kick so hard...

untill 2000 were the best times.The golden hardcore psycedelic times.When it comes to party for sure(for me).
when it comes to music I think the music develops quite heavy right now. Again. Great sweden ,russian and us artists and lots of many more around this globe with heavy psyco vibes.
Between 96-98 it was very hard to find vinyls of my taste it was like the development has stopped though the partys were killer then it went on with a good range of great sounds.Back than i liked more that bongo didge trance which was very hard to find.Nowadays I overheard it for long years and like a lot of the underground hardcore psycedelic artists.

I believe that clinging to nostalgia isn't healthy... what's important is making the best of the present.
Then again I don't have years of being involved in the scene under my belt but still that's my humble opinion. |

I don't think it's bad to think about something like this..it only gets unhealthy when you obsess over it and try to live the present based on those memories.
Anyway, I haven't even been around for quite this long, but my favorite year based on releases alone is probably 2004.

personly i think it was around 2000-2
every realese with high quality and unique sounds.. the elite of trance that develop for allready 10 years...
before it was abit too raw , and after it turned too commercial.

1998 without a doubt!
for me it's THE year when people pushed the psy sound to the limits that have not been crossed since. after that the progressive killer wave hit the scene. 1998 had it all from x-dream's radio, cosmosis's synergy, edgecore's free as compilation, tip's beyond color compilation, metal spark's corrosive etc. etc.

In 2002 I joined isratrance so i think that had to be the best year. I must have really been into and must have been peaking on my trance dance megapsy trip looking forward only. Today I still am on my trance dance megapsy trip except that I can turn and look at what has been accumulated in the past. Retro Psytrance Generation...
