Hey,
Can someone fill me in on what's supposed to happen in the year 2012? Competing theories or whatever.
I feel like I need to be prepared (not for the apocalypse, but in case I end up having a conversation about this in the summer

I think its best just to ignore anyone who is on about 2012 - as they've probably taken far too much acid. Unless you fancy them of course... and then you could always say "thats interesting - tell me more" (and say good bye to having any sensible conversation for the rest of the night...)

i've heard thats when the mayans said we're all going to get beamed up to space,again...or the space men are going to beam down to earth,again...or we move onto our next level of conciousness whislt evolving into higher beings..
another drop anyone one?...
whatever...i'm sure its going to be an interesting year.

There was a bloke giving a talk at Boom one time who thought it was the higher level of consciousness thing.
He kept saying "now I'm not a scientist - OR a philosopher, but.."
