The EQ is like doing surgery.., very very accurate. The Master Copressor(Quad Compressor) Makes everything fat, with out squashing it to much.
Anyway the School ordered this Bundle last week for Our Icon Sudio(Pro Tools)
I must say the Interface is really nice.
The Overall options of Routing the EQs and Dynamics (E-Chanel Strip) are 1:1 from the real thing.
The Eqs sound really good.., they did hier a really good job.., not the same as the real one, but not far from it either.
The Compressor.....like the real!.. if it was a woman ... i would marry it !

How many people do you know that have had a go with an original silver/blackface?
We've all heard this story before, a new software developer releases a new emulation of "x" hardware, makes a GUI that looks very close to the real thing and people jump saying "wow this looks great...etc...etc". Same deal with the NI and Arturia synths....they "looked" great, but sounded 
Let's just wait and see/hear.

downloaded the demo last night, got an iLok , so going to put it through some extensive tests in the studio sooonish....
will definiterly buy it for sure if it sound sweet
btw....i think the price is very reasonable considering what they have modelled..... |

Dude I've tried Waves bundles that sound very average. I was using a Waves Renaissance reverb where the cheap Lexicon MPX-100 pissed and shat over from a great height.
As well as the compressors. My cheapest compressor DBX 266XL sounds better than than Waves (C something) one. Not to mention if you go up a few bucks (but stil under the Waves bundle) and go into Joemeek territory.
So it says Waves on the box, so what?

Don´t want to enter any WAVES defending argument but your statement is simply not true...Waves plugins are found in many of the big pro studios around the world...
Im not talking about comparisons hardware vs waves etc, but to say they have a reputation for mediocre stuff is simply wrong information...they are among the best in software plugins... |

i dont need to tell u if i get much money or not with my released , but i can tell i have some money , not rich and not poor , but when u have regular incoming getting into your bank account , u can make something called "LOAN" with this for sure u can buy if u want a ferrari since u have money to pay every month !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
about discussion of waves , they are for sure one of the best enterprises making good plugins !!! and this is my opinion!!! and im out of this thread !!!!
PS - sys about the eschematics , its easy , make a search under the internet and electronic sites and u will find out for sure .... just a mather of pacience !!!!

Hey mate i dont want to be the guilty one for you to stop posting here ...
When you spoked about SSL console like its an easy buy,i was like a kid in Toys r Us... and wondering why could you buy it so easily!
Off course youre in the right to keep that to yourself 
I guess you got me wrong...
BTW,if you get material that needs the warmness of the real SSL channel strip,you should consider going to a studio with one of these and pay for some hours with a mastering engineer there,surely will be expensive,but not so much as the console!

waves plugs are mediocre... ok L2 has won some praise in the industry, but eqs and comps are... yeuk

dude i got the impression that u understand some stuff about the equipment
sure u can compare these (or any) plugs to the real shit
but the scale go way down on "real shit" side
lets say that....
1st i thought logic comps was way too good
till i bought dbx266
then i understood logic comp is piece of crap compare to (still piece of crap) dbx comp
then i built a clone of ssl400 and its put stamp that says "crap" offitialy on dbx266"
one thing about digi/soft compared to REAL analog is that analog REALY do what u TELL him to do
not like digi that EMULATES the function in 1001010000101010011110 (with eq's u hear most difference about this imulation/real)
from all equipment in the studio all the mastering MUST be analog if u realy care about the sound
thats why im getting pissed off on every one of other "new age artist" that bulshit me about sound quality and still use crapy vst for the final mixings
