I have been looking at alot of synth today, and especially the virus TI and the Virus polar... But I haven't been able to find any good information about the difference of the two.
What is the difference, and/or best of those two synths?
Peace!

It's just that the polar is way more sexy in white. I finally took the desktop version because my wallet didn't want to spend hundreds of bucks more just for that keyboard and colour...same sound, same perfs anyway
Go for it, it's a MONSTER.

The Polar is beautiful... Its heavy and the keyboard is just amazing and it s sexy... but a desktop will do the same job. |

As far as I have learned, the snow does the same, but with alot less knobs to turn. With the snow, you have to tweak via the software instead...

the virus ti snow is a little bit different. it has the same sound engine and it can play all the patches from its big brothers but some things are different. It only has one output L&R while the others have 3.. As far I remember reading the polyphony is different also and onother thing that sucks big time is that it can only play 4 parts in multi mode. I think it would make more sense to buy powercore then the snow. |

of course it depends for what you planning to use it, but for me the snow is a bit of a toy ...
one motorola DSP instead of two means: less parts (4 instead of 16), less polyphony (50 instead of 80), ... and less knobs.
also the banks have 64 presets instead of 128.
only advance may be: less weight = more portable, smaller footprint on the desk.
