there is no ugly Freq`s!!!
music is all about balance & harmony.
sometimes a "band" or frequency can be too harsh or loud but its individual per track and also changes with different pitch.
elad, you`r right, the room can change a lot of the sound and also can make some frequencies much louder than they really are because of the proportions of the room

You mean A=440 Hz.
4.40 kHz = C#8
The frequencies that appear to sound "bad" or Dissonant are dependant on the fundamental frequency and the timbre of that instrument. Simple waves will have predictable "dissonant" harmonics based on the harmonic series, however complex waveforms will have unpredictable harmonics...

Sorry yes .. 15 years watching my guitar tuner and i still do this mistake with A 440 , thanks to all for the posts im really clearing my mind with all this help pls keep posting!
