DISCLAIMER: I am one of the organisers and have played at the party!!!
Well, we wanted to do a small party for 400-300 people but were surprised when over 550 people showed up.
theparty itself was in a small forest behind shaar hagay fuel stop on the way to jerusalem, but because of police paranoia we decided to make the people travel through a forest a bit (half hour ride on a decent trail).
Music was provided by DJ Yali, DJ Bakke from Spiral traxx and myslef. and the overall feeling was of a very nice gathering.
Hope that all who have been there enjoyed.

cute location with very deep going underground directions, i enjoyed travel 45 min in the forest indeed !!
music started with slow and prety nice set of shamir, evolved to good night set of yali and then bakke came to play sweedish forest tunes, i have admit it wasnt my cup of tea but mixing and music were very impressive, im sure real trance ppl enjoyed it alot, at this time borris went up on stage and played full on set mixed up with some different tunes for everybodies pleasere, bakke that seems enjoyed very much asked to play some moreand got permission from doc, so they played ass to ass set and then bakke alone..
nice gathering indeed it was.
p.s. - borris, m8, friend, ahhhi - please, turn back to progressive !!

Actualy AFAIK shamir hasn't played, it was Yali all the way to the dawn (till Bakke took over)

hey
amazing party 3rd Empire people !
way to go !! really came with no expectaions at all..
had too many disapointments lately.. :/
but hell ! this one rocked so much !
amazing set by bakke , was really empresd. great dj skills too !
boris was a surprise too with psysex - survival kit at morning and some more great morning music..
boris mate i really worried u'll dig my ass off with minimal-progi music at morning.. but your music was just perfect man !
location was good and filled by great people and nice weather...
driving deeper into the forest was a bit scary due to car problems at a party 2 weeks before at the desert.. but it all went smooth eventually
all in all... i had so much fun , deffently best prodaction in some time now..
no complians really
just keep the good work !!

I arrived the party at about 4:30. I left after 2 hours. Weird no one mentioned the sound system, which was poor to say the least. |

I agree about the sound system, we were promised 6KW of JBL and were given 4KW of EAW instead. the sound guy just fucked us up.
when we tried to complain he just said "you don;t like it?? no problem, I'll just leave!".

hi folks, maybe kind of late.. but better then not at all..
after long drive in the forest (very nice road, btw) we enter the piknik as i promised my girl, not tooo early not to late, just on perfect timing if counts the much people who came later on.
was DJ Yali playing, must say the guy came kind of early to my opinion, if he just been playin laters then bakke, he was doin there wonders on much of the crowd that came, or maybe im wrong..
the guy just made the place rock as a party should, even i was too tired for enjoin it, as im kind of old, and i like damn proggy/minimal shit (as boris supposed to be playin in those hours, and sorry me if im cuttin your creativity here guys and girls about the lineup)
so i went to do my stuff at the chishop floor (that been offering great bargains, btw ) and laters woke up to find whole bunch of friends came there to the party, whats a nice surprise to a lone ranger such me..
k, that wasnt them that woke me up, but the fact that i start to hear notables sounds from DJ bakke that took place on da decks, and count my opinion he knew how to handle this sound system and unexpected croud... after all he know forest quite good, and it wasnt matter to him if its israel or sweden, forest is forest wherever, especiallly if the third empire crew r around 
i seen the place goin nuts earlier at night while yali plays, so i cant say the fact boris went up with psysex or not was keepin the floor empty or the fact that the bar looks like nothin left was doin it (ok,with this low prices, not so surprising), anyway was nice to chill around hear old tunes coming in perfect mixing as boris and bakke know, get some walk around the forest, and find the way back home through whole country who do mangals
as one who follow third empire partys, i must feel this one is the one that smell like the point of breakthrough from "friends party" into "underground scene" so next time no excuse about less then pair or two of turbosound
still, if u wanna keep it small and friendly i dont mind if u use your own PA as in the past.. its just matter of the risk u take, so i can handle it, as long as the music keep being good and unique, and the place stay with the better vibes.
btw, the invitation and the ben-gurion speach at morning show your creativity still rocks, so keep them coming more and more often !!!! |
