I still have these weird problems. Let me tell you what I do to load the kits.
1) I open Nuendo 3.2
2) I open a project <Pet - Deeper and Fatter Bass- SX3 Song -- v 2 a.cpr> or any other, and I get a pop up find window from Battery, so I abord loading
3) Once in a project, I select "BASS" midi line

and then hit "File"->"Import" menu in Battery, browse to the "NEW! fugga BASS Kits" folder and that's what I get:

4) After I have chosen one of the kits, I either hear drums, bass, or nothing at all
Am I missing smth?
All I want is to hear drums and bass at the same time.

hey Frequency..... strange problem!
lets see if we can get it going for you, but i need more infomation 1st.
- Do any SX3 songs work in your Nuendo? or is it just that one file?
- What pop up error do you get when loading?
is it can't find sample? or battery channels? or something else?
- On the Battery "Menu's" built into the vsti, find "options" and get info of how many "out's" you have.... I.E. 3 x stereo & 3x Mono .
get me that info & i will see what i can do to help from there. |

Thanks for your quick reply, Fugga.
- I never used to have any problems before when opening SX3 projects with Nuendo. As a matter of fact Nuendo is pretty much the same as SX3 but with more advanced features.
- To answer your 2nd question I will post screenshots I get while opening your project files.
The first error I get is a Battery pop-up window asking me for every single sample. I tried this method, but there were many samples it couldn's find for some reason. Anyways here it is

The second error I get is from Nuendo asking me to resolve several issues

And finally, Nuendo tells me to change the instrument config.

Once I go to options in Battery 2, I see that I have 8 stereo and 16 mono channels.

Right now I'm in Florida and far from home, so here I'm forced to use a computer that has SB Live card on it, but still I don't think that should be the issue.

Easy FIXED! -
I do not mind helping people , BUT PLEASE read your Sequencer's & sampler's MANUAL...
All these problems you stated are real SIMPLE ones's, and what's even worse is that the program's are giving you the EASY to follow infomation in order to fix it!!!!
take you time to learn your gear it will pay off in the long run!
JPEG1 LINk--
its asking you for the sample "rvs hommega kck" -
1. go to " new! fugga BASS Kits"
2. Find / go to folder "FUB- Deeper and Fatter - 1 Samples"
3. Select the sample that it is asking for.
THERE ARE ONLY 16 SAMPLES IN THIS PARTICULAR KIT, IT SHOULD NOT BE HARD TO FIND!

Ok, this is my fault, it is asking for the Bounce down wav.'s That I did for the demo track....To solve this-
1. In cubase go to "PooL" menu
2. open pool
3. Delete / remove missing files!
4. Re-save project.
JPEG3 & JPEG4 LINK --
to fix this-
1. go back to the Battery vsti "options" menu.
were it reads "Output" (circled in red in your jpeg link) change the config to
3x Num Stereo
3x Num Mono

Nice, I got it fixed
I was doing everything right except for the ouput configuration part; I thought that they were configured automatically. Anyways, tx for your great help and of course tx to bro-oke!! |

Any chance of an upload to somewhere other than Rapid Share - I've NEVER been able to download from there. It always says invalid.

the midi files are great, there are definitely some things i can learn from this!
one thing i would suggest perhaps in your arrangement is to keep the bass a little more solid, with not as many changes. the breaks are great, but keeping the groove solid is where the Psy comes in, just me 2 cents worth

its great to get some feedback
I agree with your comments,
I left the bass arrangement this way so you could preview & test different bass sounds threw out different octaves and notes.
This project was never ment to be a "song" .... just a test kit with nice presets to exchange!
anyway thanks for your comments again daleks!,
well over 100 people have Downloaded the file, but less than a handfull of people have commented, very sad
