by the way: how you make this roll with left channel roll/crash and at the same time on right channel the identical one reversed? sounds nice good to see it in the wave. just panning 2 audiostreams and bounce? well il give it a try anyhow. great stuff you bring here! |

hey vipal, thats automatic LFO panning in battery, its set to sync 1/16th , sine wave 360. It's also "Chromatic" key track on the Kick sample!
nice huh! so you finaly got to open the kits ok?

isn't it obvious? or are you a stick in the mud? what i'm offering is some knowledge 
I also did not mention that there is absolutly NO EQ or FX in DEMO or BASS, its yours to sculpt!
any how I hope to get some more feed back please, any bodie care to mention if I have wasted my time?

~ vb1's & ESM's biggest secret is or was it's sample!
~ Battery.v.2. kits are compatible with alot of vsti samplers use googLe.
~ my guess is 70% Of good Bass needs no fx applied to it before mastering.
~ SampLes of the same instrument / patch sound completly different when tuning is tweaked, check out different octaves, with each sample. also the bit crush & Htz.SAT both can play there role in modeLing a bass.
~ key tracking is your friend! varie the amount of sample you make per bass patch!
~ D.F.D or "direct from disk" sampling! is a solution for people with Low cpu ram, issue's.
~ make you own bass samples with vsti sampling program!
What is he on about? you say?
you load a VSTi instance of your choice, then instruct the vsti 'rip' the sounds off the other VSTi and convert it to sampler format you desire. SICK! takes minutes only to setup!
and its similar stuff for hardware analog synths.
there a few vsti & other free programs that can do this for you! just read the manuals!
to name couple : Extreme Sample Converter, Image Line - direct image, kontakt, & many more check KVR music forum.
~ read your sampler's manual and learn how to load kit files properly.
- MAKING SAMPLES IN CUBASE SX3 TIP:
1. go to.... "Advance Function" folder.
2. then go to .... "Detect Silence: !
This is an excelent tool for cleaning your sounds & sample cuts!

Hey man, what u've done is pretty cool and useful for all of us. THANK YOU, YOU ARE THE MAN!!! However, I still don't quite understand how to load these kits in Battery 2. Do I have to load multis to make Cubase projects work? A little guideness would be very apreciated since not everyone knows how to use Battery sampler. I, personally, use kontakt most of the times.

In battery v2. there is an "Import" option in the "file" drop down menu, that is built into the vsti.
just use this to import the kit file found in the "NEW! fugga BASS Kits" folder that you get when you download.

I have NI Battery 2.. but the god damn thing still doesn't detect it even after I tried reinstalling it :/

need more info to help you... sequencer? & stuff?
My self & over 50 other people have used it with no problems, so i know its not the kit.
this whole set should be pretty fool proof and easy, lets us know how things turn out? |
