get pinguin metering with a seperated pc just for it and connect it via spdif..

best thing out there..still

What kind of spectrogram is this, and how do you read it?

C3PO - You have time across the bottom, frequency up the side, and the level of a given frequency at a given time as colour. The spectrogram moves from left to right showing you a history of level vs. frequency over a period of time. Very useful.
