curosity killed the cat, and to get rid of curosity we created coincidence.
coincidence is used wen u cannot or dont want to accept a theroy which science does'nt approve.
i have used it till the major part of my life but wen i started 'accepting rather than changing' i realized otherwise.
science is 1 of the most orthodox and stuborn society (as well as hypocrite if i may add) i have know more than religion in sum respects
wot is thought to be absurd today can be a fast accepted fact a year later.

bro if u think telepathy or even water crystals or aura clensing n stuff like that is not possible, then bro how do u explain the 'Placebo Theroy' which is an accepted fact in today's science. The mind or 'collective consciousness' has more powers than science can think of.

Coincidence is just "a striking occurrence of two or more events at one time apparently by mere chance".
The problem (as I see it) arrives when people start to attribute unearthly values to coincidences. IMO in this world things just happen. And weird things also happen, and everyone knows shit happens all the time. 
Even if "The mind or 'collective consciousness' has more powers than science can think of" if I can't detect it and I don't feel any of its effects in my life to me is like it just don't exist. Maybe I'm loosing some aspects of my life I could enjoy more if I believed, but who knows for sure? I can't just press a buttom and start to believe...
Placebo effect is well understood. There are a lot of scientific papers about it. Symptoms sometimes are psychological, and also it is clear that emotional and psychological stability has a positive impact on the immunologic system. For example, depression or lack of hope can depress the immune system, because they affect cortisol and cytokines levels, etc...

i agree with full_on.
its not just about "not believing things that aren't explained by science". if one believes in science as such without questioning it oneself, its not any better than believing in a random religion. it would be even worse because (most) religions are at least consistent with itselft, iow non-self-contradictory. (dont read the bible to closely or you'll get the same problem hehe)
i am just way too much of a sceptic to be bullshitting myself just to feel better or have better things happen. even if it would work - and i really think it does work as soon as the brain got used to ignoring "bad things" - i dont think this is how a human being should behave or think like. its unethical and uncaring imo to live like this.
when i say universal consciousness cna change the world, i rather mean united will-power; The Will^tm of people and all peoples that we dont want certain things happening anymore.
for most bad things that happen on this planet at the moment this would probably mean 0.5% of the people doing the really really really bad bad things until the wealthiest people (the 1% who have as much as 57% of the worlds people on the poor end of the scale - what is something between ridiculous and outrageous only from looking at the numbers, in my opinion) and a few people who have a little more just stop supporting these morally and environmetally bad actions, which is in most cases simply the boycott of certain products and services.
this, discernment and duty, will definitely help this planet and all its various inhabitants way more than just something that i would call 'bliss through ignorance'.

bro if placebo works and our body has more than 70% of water i dont really understand how u cant relate to the water crystals theroy.
neways forced belief can take u nowhere so i dont wanna argue n strech this further.

Fullon and Ethlad mi bros ........ just came bck to see the nice writings on this blue wall ........... well all i can say is that am 32yrs of age and till i was 28 i kept having the same arguments as yourself and never believed in what i believe now ............... and yes someday you too shall understand the alternate SCIENCE and shall tune in ...and if not then its no bodys loss, belief has led us to the moon to feel it that it truely exists and not a light projection .....
will come with more to write if feel like ...... for now

and i must say this is one of the best movies {Documentary} i have ever seen....
