well, when i started producing never nobody tells how do do it, but the true is that "watching how is made you can learn" easily that discovering by your self....u should always understand how it works and no how he do it, anyway here is the Project with automated midi lead of vibe tribe most wanted :x

automation was just recorded one time by mouse moving lol.. so it's far from perfect but u can get an idea of what knobs are important in this lead
just need vanguard and cubase 5

i think i got a bit progress with sylenth
http://www.sendspace.com/file/239llt
i don't try to get all the automation the same. i try to get it to point when there is extreme lfo on the sound. and it's realy tweacked tight and not ruining the melody

because, i wrote the notes by myself what took some time, i made the bass, the ramps and some stupit HH xD
its always harder and take more time to clone, than making leads by yourself.

-2x saw, the first osc is louder and 1 oct. higher
-add fatness (detune a bit, or the simple FAT button with vanguard)
-add drive/distortion
-make sure you got the right filter (band+shp2 with vanguard)
-make sure you got right adsr options (i still can hear that you dont have 100% decay and sustain... give them 100% IMPORTANT, 0% release at first)
-also make sure that the adsr of the filter in 100% !
-dont use any lowcut... if you check the lead on you spec analyzer, you know why it sounds that fat in the quiet part
-you can automate the eq and cut the low´s when your kick comes is... well i didnt care^^
-i added a compressor to make the sound snapier/percussiver...louder

and this all, you should know by just hearing.

now the harder part comes...
the ballance of cutoff, resonance, lfo speed and lfo´s cutoff itself...

i automate those buttons, to get different sounds at different parts of the track...
sometimes there is more resonance, to hear the lfo better or to reduce its effect... cutoff you use to... you know what it does^^... THAT ALL MAKES THE SOUND COME ALIVE AND PERFECT

well experimentate.

then you can add some delay/fx´s... with any effect vst (timeless... or maybe psp nitro if you like) to get a complexer delay or some kind of other things.

hope this helped.

ah and...
i know vanguard works.
toxic biohazard also should do the job.
zebra2 also could do it (with much more effort)
im not sure about sylenth... just spended a few hours with it.

no, you said "its sounds are not quality", not that you dont like it...

that its not quality, you heard of you friends, and thats why you dont like it.

you realy obsessed with what i said....
last year i did a 8 monthes course at production,. and i realy started from zero.
the first vst that i felt kind of comfortable with is vangard. one time at class i played the track i was working on to hear some advices from the teacher. so the main thing the teacher said is that my leads are sucks (he said it in gentle way of course). he asked which vst's i used for the leads. and i told him that vangard. so he told me that he think that this not very good vst. and i should try and work with other vst's. because i was very new at producing i took his word. i didn't know anything about sound at the moment. i'm not claim to be an expert now but i know a little and i don't think it's very good sounding. if vibe tirbe did their leads with it, which i'm doubt about that, so i take my words back.
anyway thanks for helping with the lead. i'll try it later. and like the british like to say take it easy!

iyou right. i didn't used decay and sustain 100% because when i started to work on the adsr it sounded to me not right. it sounded to me that the notes became too big and there wasn't space bitween them. i believe you right becasue you are closer than me to the sound. so if this not the adsr what could make my notes to be too long when i used the sustain and decay 100%. maybe i just need to make the notes shorter....(i thought about it now when i was writing)
