yes or maybe fm ,tryed it with a other synth and same , the filter modulation don t sound like that,now i think it s more close to fm with a low oscillator .
anyway i wouldn t try to hard to make the same patch ,you need the same synth if you wanna get exclalty the same sound .just trying to copy it i made 2 or 3 cool leads, you see my point, make you leads it s way faster

i have now nord lead for few days and i'm quiet sure that vibe tribe did it with nord lead that's why i try to do it now...
i heard your lead. it's nice but as vibe tribe's lead. i heard now that also azax syndrom and bliss used very similar lead in their album

Hi all
Well I will add my 2cents. I would use a modular synth like Zebra or Massive for that type of lead.
To me it sounds like a typical super saw lead with an LFO modulating the filter cutoff. I would also try setting up two oscillators an octave apart running through 2 seperate filters useing two different LFO's with different rates. You could also try adding a third LFO to the detune option, thats the one that detunes the voices not the pitch. Set the LFO'S rates to your mod wheel for some LFO madness and add abit of chorus to widen the sound.

better get an idea of adsr and learn something... nordlead is useless if you cant controll the basics on a vst...
you are not even close to the sound.
if you take the preset of vanguard and give 100% LFO speed you get much closer... so why dont try a bit, instead of asking.
and yes, azax use similar lead sound, because everyone does it, it is THE BASIC SAW LFO LEAD, wich can vary in many many ways.
i made this lead, that ppl like you try to get an idea... but it seems like im making things worse.

(i know you dont use vanguard xD )... the settings of biohazard you find in the discription... and if you understand them, you KNOW what to do, to make the lead you desire...

i downloaded already your vangard preset and it's nice to understand the vibe trib's lead but still i stick to the point that vangard doesn't have good sound.
this lead of vibe tribe or azax syndrom is defently not a basic.azax syndrom did a synthesis course by the way. and i have an idea about the basics. it's not basic at all this lead and it's not so simple. and i tried more than enough to make this lead before i open this thread and after i opened this thread.
i don't claim to be so good otherwise i wouldn't even argue with you. but who are you that you think yourself as superstar artist?
and how can you judge my sound after you heard ONE sound i tried to do?
keep with vangard and we will see what will get from you.....

nice man the modulation sound very close but n in the original it s a bit more high quality , maybe a other filter or different amout of resonance

It is subjective what sound is good or not!
It is also a matter of which state of mind your are in.
To say that vanguard doesn't have good sound is
in my opinion narrow minded and my guess is that you have heard tracks with vanguard in them and you have liked the sound...
(obviously as vibe tribe said he made that lead with vanguard, and now you are trying to replicate it)
Now its a totally different question what kind of equipment you like to work with! again its narrow minded to bash other equipment just cause you dont like to work with them...

well,when i started producing never nobody tells how do do it, but the true is that "watching how is made you can learn" easily that discovering by your self....u should always understand how it works and no how he do it, anyway here is the Project with automated midi lead of vibe tribe most wanted :x
automation was just recorded one time by mouse moving lol.. so it's far from perfect but u can get an idea of what knobs are important in this lead
just need vanguard and cubase 5

...i just saw that you could missunderstand my last post... stas didnt say he made this lead with vanguard, he said that vanguard is good for this and that, nothing detailed.
i know my clone isnt perfect, just wanted to show that its possible with a little understanding.
