U can do that on sylenth 1 using the arp,saw tooth (just one voice) tweak the portmento ,like acidus said use lfo to undock it from it's static state. Simples.
One of the easy leads mate try it on sylenth you can do it with ease

I want a Nordlead...
there seem to be no one selling them these days! hehe
Elad you have NL2.. which do you recommend, 1,2 or 3?

Just get disco dsp; and a flashy controller a hbrid of a nord
When I had my virus Ti I had a vst that wuz in compition with it,,I was payin 150a month for it, the vst I had that could do near enough the same thing as the virus wuz free!! |

sound wise they went down with the years , so 1.
3 is way too bad and dull this why it was removed from the stores and the nord wave came right after it..
so i'd go for either the wave (best) or the 1.. if is too hard to find then 2 is great sounding too..
but hey , virus sounds better then all those hehe.. or i totally went all over the nord possibilities

i found the vibe tribe lead preset on the"mother of all leads thread". it's impressive but still not as clean and powerfull as the original.
i guess it's almost impossible to copy exactly the same sound because they got also character from eq,compressor, reverb, delay, and mastering.

don't think mastering has anything to do with it. just find a good synth.

man it s not really that, can you post the original in mp3? can t hear youtube on my monitors , but you should take what you like in the patch and make your own, its way faster
if you upload the mp3 and the midi we can try to make something close |

i got close but the filter modluation is not sounding the same on the synth i used,maybe try some fast lfo on one of the oscillators or/and fm , i ll upload when i get back home |

i haven t bothered to get the fx and stereo right, just tryed to get the modulation but i couldn t, might give it a other try later with a other synths ,maybe still it can help you.
i tryed with sylenth ,detuned 2 oscillators slighty then detuned 4 voice in each (you could do that with unisson with other synths)then modulate the filter with fast lfo, i couldnt get the sound, so i tried fast lfo juste on one of the oscillator pitch ,it was close too but not exacltly the same, then i tryed filter + osc still was close but not there,i guess it s just not the good synth to get that sound ...
