Hey Everyone,

I'm moving to Seattle for this summer. Got an internship there for about 2 months, June & July.....(fun stuff eh?)

Anyway, I dont know anyone there, and I've heard that there's quite a community of goa-trancers in Seattle. Hopefully, there will be a few parties during those 2 months. Also, I've noticed that most parties are like 2-3 hours outside of Seattle... Aren't there any closer to the city. Also, if someone could hook me up with the eighths (BOOOOOOOOOM!!) while I'm there, that'd be SUPER!!!

PEACE!

check www.nwtekno.org click on the turntable... for the community forum
www.environmentalstructures.net
also www.oraclegatherings.com they have great parties ...
if i think of more i will post more .

look for waater, and lara. tell them i say hi!
they are top psy djs there that ive heard. i know there are lots more but they are the ones i know.
nick tornetta definitely throws some big parties, (psycraft on the next one, IM and ticon last fall...)
the parties that are in bellingham, portland, and out in the country are not to be discounted just because they are far away. the SEA gang seems to be well connected with vancouver also, which has a big psy scene.

these are two weeklys not to miss, i played both during my visit there last april.
good luck! enjoy that cool city.

How was the Penta party??? Also, does Seattle have any parks similar to Haight Street in San Francisco, where I can walk around and be offered "Nugs, Trees?!" every two minutes...?? Understandable that people don't really wanna discuss that kind of shit on here, but I'm fiending guys!!!!

yeah...Oregon must be a freak state!

I'm hearing psytrance sets on the radio in a town of only 23,000 people!

FYI this night (MOVE) has been gone for a while now. I am promoting a night at the Aristocrats club in Seattle (every 2nd Thursday) but I'm not sure if it's going to be around much longer... Check www.nwtekno.org as others have suggested.

The festival on 2004-06-04 has been cancelled but there is The Phoenix Festival on the 4th of July weekend, which is definitely worth checking out. Pretty much the northwest's largest trance event of the year. www.phoenixfest.org

Get on the nw604 mailing list, a lot of parties are promoted there as it's not entirely public. Summer means outdoor parties around here, and not all of them have permits =D

The coolest thing about Seattle goa parties is in the Winter we have a few "Eskimo Summer" parties out in the snow. Very intimate and vibey, nothing else like dancing in the snow.

There are sometimes events in Seattle but most outdoor parties are 1-3 hours away, it's usually not hard to find a ride with someone else.

Oh, and about nugs... I don't know of anywhere you can walk around and expect to find people selling on the streets, at least not that I would trust. Go to a party, meet some stoners, ask them. We get good weed up here =)           http://switz.org/mixes.htm

Psyki, thanks for the info. I finally managed to find some green yesterday and it was some super duper shit man. Some of the best stuff I've smoked since New York. It's cheaper here too ..... Looking forward to the Phoenix Fest
