The location is in the beaufitul swiss mountains, very near Chur. The closest airport is Zürich-Kloten, but Basel-Mulhouse is also no that far away.
After three years we are finally ready to present you the follow-up party to the Forgotten Ritual. We tried to improve on all points that needed improvement and are looking forward to meeting all you lovely people to celebrate again in the Swiss mountains.
There will be two stages - one with full power psychedelic trance and one with a mixture of different styles of electronic music. Also there will be a tent with a cinema at night and tai chi / yoga etc. workouts during the day. Full website update soon!

As Underground Sound Promotions (USP) we have been organizing events with electronic music in Switzerland for the last ten years, mainly in the following genres: drum'n'bass, psytrance/darkpsy and (lately) deep minimal techno. In autumn 2006 we began with our Further Dimensions series – Switzerland’s biggest strictly darkpsy event series to date. Besides that we organized some private forest parties in different locations.
In summer 2007 with the help of many friends we organized our biggest event to date, the Forgotten Ritual with three nights and days of intense psychedelic music on the main floor and a mixture of styles with a lot of ambient on the second stage. 3 years after this unforgettable experience, Underground Sound Promotions and their psychedelic friends from Switzerland are ready to announce to you the next edition of our summer festival – The Ritual which will take place from 25-28 June 2010. During three days and two nights we want to present to you some of the finest international artists producing intense psychedelic trance music. On the second stage we will have excellent ambient music during the nights and different styles of electronic music during the day.
We would like to remind you of the fact that a gathering like this festival is an event co-created by all persons involved, no matter how small their actual contribution. The result of this co-creation depends also on how conscious the participants will be of the fact that they are actually involved in the creation of the whole experience. In fact, many of you already participated in creating the idea behind the Ritual, as you were hoping for another edition of the Forgotten Ritual... and within the next months, your energies linked mentally and emotionally to the idea and concept of the Ritual will influence the setting in which the actual experience of the festival will happen. We want this event to be an experiment in what we can achieve together as group of like- and open-minded people. Therefore we ask each and every one of you to bring forth ideas which might help to make this event something special.
Especially welcome are innovative decoration concepts as well as ideas for interactive participation.
One of the main goals of the festival (and the reason why it is taking place in the days leading to full moon) is to render people more aware of the cyclical character of nature, time, ourselves and all that is since sound can be an important link and vehicle for the human being to perceive the fractal & holographic nature of reality with its complex vibrational patterns. We hope to help you recognize some fundamental laws of existence that will enable you to look through the systemic illusions of our everyday life and to envision a different reality that we will be creating collectively in the years to come.
We are meeting under the stars to celebrate that blissful dance that is our life here on Planet Earth. We wish to open our hearts and our minds to truly understand our place within the Universe and transform our way of seeing so we can use the ecstatic feelings that arise when dancing and listening to help spread peace and harmony around the Globe and beyond.
An important aspect of our festival is the “leave-no-trace” concept: We would like to make you sensitive of the beauty of the place the festival takes place in and ask you to make sure not to destroy it by leaving or dropping cigarettes, glasses or any kind of waste on the floor. We expect you to be respectful and act responsible and thus to leave the area as clean as it was when you arrived. There will be enough garbage bags, ashtrays and waste disposal facilities available to help you succeed.
We are looking forward to seeing many smiling & dancing people on the dancefloor - keep the spirit alive

If you want to book your flights early: all three international airports (Basel, Zürich, Geneva) are close to the location. Just chose the one that's most convenient for you. |

guess you know that furious is hopefully also coming to europe this summer ... ?
