Aura a new beginning to an established event.
Same beautiful location, new owners.... after a year-long hiatus, Overmind Works
and Plaza de Anaya are very pleased to announce the return of Aura. Aura is a
fusion of expressive and recreational dance, of various forms of ethnic and electronic
music, and of visual and performance arts. With each Aura we seek to create an
aesthetic and interactive atmosphere that is stimulating, entertaining, and unique.
Join us on Saturday, September 27, 2008 for another fun evening of belly trancing!

Entry is $5 presale at http://www.plazadeanaya.com or $8 at the door
Doors open at 9pm and close when we stop dancing.
Refreshments and good music available throughout the night....
with some other surprises to be announced.
Plaza de Anaya features a beautiful hardwood dance floor, and they have
graciously allowed us to use their cherished space. They only ask that attendees
remove their shoes while on the dance floor. Please be prepared to dance in
clean socks or bare feet. Clean, soft-soled shoes are also allowed.
This is an event not to be missed, come join in the groove, the atmosphere and
meet other people looking for an entertaining, unique way to spend their Saturday night!

it's great to get this going again with such a unique event and space.
it just so happened the new owners were at the very last aura about a year ago and loved it. and now... we begin again

We like to take summers off. No point throwing events when it's 120 outside. Now that the outdoor season is hitting here in AZ again look out for much more coming up.

Aura is one seriously badass monthly event.
I had a freakin blast all night long. It got pretty packed up in there!
The venue never ceases to amaze me with its decor and cultural vibe.
All DJs rocked it!!! :rock:
I'm very glad to have Aura back. It is one seriously awesome event. Highly cultured, highly artistic, and an overall good time.
Great seeing everyone there!!!
