I know what you mean but still i think that the best experiences in a dnacefloor and from people who experience the psychedelic world and now come and play music to take you somewere...It does not mean that anyone who has experienced psytrance through different levels cannot have ego, i am talking about people who are there to make something better out of love to the music, i am not talking about ego trips! Example Aesdana and solar fields, they play super wonderful psy chillout and really there music reflects their soul and they create a certain good energy. I don't know if they take acid or not and really i don't care as long as they do their job with love and hearth, not giving the same sound of anybody else but giving you their own special World inside the music.

          Boom :)

Here you totally contradict yourself from what you wrote in the first part I quoted. First you say that people will get the best experience on the dancefloor if the DJ or artists have experienced drugs which IMO is bull. And now you say that you dont care if Aesdana and solar fields have done Acid as long as they do their job with love and heart.
So now I am confused. Do artists and DJs need to do drugs or have done drugs in the past to give you the "best" time or not?           http://www.peopleagainstpeace.net/

I think i got it!
Other artists don´t need drugs to create good music while "Soul kontact" needs the "Fear and loathing"-Toolkit           Demand recognition for the Armenian genocide 1915

I think the two comments above are retarded and ignorant. Maybe your just joking, but the "need the drug" thing is so ... bush.

Take your own example about the pilot flying the aircraft... would you like him to fly you while tripping on acid?

nope, but it would be fun if he had tried it once in his life so that we could discuss it while flying loops. You see, I think psychedelics is a medium that can save our world in the future. Oh, me oh my *ko-ko*

IMHO I think it is about BALANCE my friends. In my experience there where many-a time where I needed nothing, the energy that was released at that time where I got high from energy alone and not being depending on no drugs. As for responsibility as an artist, I think that we need to consider a few things here..... being that we are here to take ppl on a trip (drugs or no drugs) to make ppl ONE as a whole and not JUDGE all the freakin time, that energy can be focused in more important things...LIKE SENDING PPL HOME WITH A SMILE ON THERE FACE and welcoming the new commers, Lack of positive vibes kills any scene dont you agree...... @ trippy johnny you wrote: Try and take a year off the drugs and see how much your perspective of things change when you start to realise there's a whole wonderful world out there that does not need to be looked at through colored glasses in order to be beautiful" AMEN to that bro...... Bravo Johnny , excellent point ! And i agree with you man , it has nothing to do with using or not using the drugs....its only about how much you know about music theory and about producing + your talent and creativity ...

All other stories , ppl just trying to hide their wholes in knowledge ..and how much they DONT know.......

Can't you even accept the fact that without psychedelics music is just normal music like house and techno? TRance and Psychedelic go together hand in hand just like reggae and joints or house and coke. All music is relative to a drug but this is not the point of the discussion. We are assuming here that we are playing for a psychedelic Crowd as we are talking about psychedelic music and in fact we are in a psychedelic trance forum. So playing for a crowd like this takes a lot of resposability because you can take them somewere close to heaven or somewere close to hell depending on the music your playing...Music=sound=expression=feeling...got that? Now all i am saying is that i prefer someone sho's intentions to play are for this reason for giving a beautiful trip through the music! This is all i am saying and i have an opinion also like all of you...Maybe i think differenet than you but that's no problem for me i don't see why it could be a problem for you!

Don't you just love all of these tired clichés? Hearey Heary, Lord Soul Kontakt has decreed that you MAY NOT enjoy any psytrance WITHOUT the consumption of psychedelics ONLY

Mmm, I prefer wine + cheese with my psy thank you. Yes yes, I know, another tired cliche
