if i hear a "time to die" sample and i am the person who is high on lsd for the first time- or having a bad trip etc... i might flip out and genuinely try to hurt someone or myself.
i've seen it happen.
that kind of sample has no business being in a trance track. it doesn't help the catharsis, but rather provokes and in fact causes badness.
its not a matter of artistic expression
its a matter of compassion and care for the wellbeing of your fellow human- and understanding the POWER you have when playing music- and understanding that the PEOPLE in front of you gave you that power to take them on a trip- and if you really respect this power they have given you for two hours or so...
if you are in music and you think its ok to seek or intend harm upon the minds of the people you are playing music for i think you are in the wrong genre and for the wrong reasons.
i think it comes down to intention.
people can feel intention.
but i want to discuss the different ways you think artists and djs are responsible to the group they are guiding and vice versa.

Music doesn't hurt anybody it are ppl that hurt themself by taking more dope than they can handle ....
