So finally after 80 years his personal book will see the light on october 7 2009.

The Red Book is Jung personal journey in to madness in a period of more than 6 years, during which he explored the inner depths of his mind and made a total break up with mainstream psychology.

As we know Jung praised a more depth unconciussnes, a colective one where archetypes were stored and which hold basic human knowledge.

Now we will finally able to journey with Jung in to his dementia and maybe find some clues to our own dreams.

For sure one of the must psychedelics books ever to be written.

On amazon first print has soold out it seems I already order my copy from barnes and noble.           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

Hi there!

So I've just read this really interesting preview on the latest book by Jung, that he never dared publish during his lifetime because he was afraid that people will consider him mad. Aparently it is about his personal explorations into the collective unconscious, filled with illustrations that look surprisingly like the Divine Moments of Truth flash animation...

So personally I would've ordered it right away but was put off by the price tag: 130€... at that price I guess I'll wait for the paperback to be published. But I was wondering, has anyone else around here read it? What do you think about it?           “I think I've discovered the secret of life - you just hang around until you get used to it.”

Sounds like an interesting book, personally i find Jung`s writings very good and it makes much sense. He had an more open mind then many of his colleagues which opened up an opportunity to seriously explore and analyze the human mind.

I am personally most fascinated by his writing about the self but his understanding and explanation of the different part of the human psyche such as: anima/animus ,the shadowpart on so on are also very interesting.

He was a freesh breeze into society since he dared to not be to ifluenced by those around hime but started to explore himself with traveling to other countries, and experimenting with eastern ways of entering the mind such as yoga and meditation etc

Would be nice to read that book
