That's all great and I have done my fair share of naughty things in life, still do because El Cid is the king for this music and I just love it 
But quoting this kind of stuff and talking about fear, is besides the point.
Its not a question of getting scared from the "dark" sounds. From my experience, there are no real dark sounds in dark psy. Well maybe in some tunes, but there are so many silly 14-year old circus noises going on that ruin whatever vibe was there in the first place...not to mention the race horse speed. These CDs should come with a few grams of Ket 
I like darkness in tunes from X-Dream, to Spirralianz, to Amon Tobin, to Aphex Twin, to Soundgarden.
But the stuff I heard that people call "dark" is not giving me a feeling of darkness that makes me think twice before having a couple of drops cause I might loose control, it just makes me feel like I am turning into a fucking idiot...its like down syndrome in waveforms.

Don't judge only with your own mind and common sence...
What is suitable for my eyes&ears maybe it isn't for somebody else...
There is good dark and bad dark, there is good full-on and bad full-on... as there is good rock and bad rock, good metal and bad metal...
What can we do about it ???
Did you see rock people quarrel with metal-people ???

i work as a recording/mixing engineer @ a rock/metal studio (Red House Thessaloniki) for the past years, and i deal -if not only- mostly with rock/metal/blues guys..
the answer is yes, they're the same if not worse than 'us'

Mr xrust forgive me i promise this is the last post of me for that topic i know we got you tired..i dont have sth personal ofcourse with mr pipes and slipers...if i had i would pm him i know many people think like this thats why i write here.. for me is like trying to prove that the world is not flat but round...
i dont want to be unfair with the artists ..but for me...polyphonia,zik,kindzadza,alien mental psykovski..are really genius and their music is modern psychedelic..and with todays knowledge they can make kox box tracks with one finger but this is not the point the point is to make sth new and interesting..intelligent people who listen to trance for 15 years can not hear the same tunes even if we loved them so much but we need sth diffrent thats the point
diffrent but psychedelic...i dont speak for hundreds of artists who try their best also
i speak for these "monsters" of todays psychedelic trance music...house music is cool also but i dont like...peace

im sorry but i agree on this matter with kaos
for one and only reasons , we live in 2009
and electronic music has reached a space level
plus i belive that dark psy is a very power full style of music,
mabe for some people they think its niose ,its what they like to see it as or hear it,
for so many people listening to it around the world
must mean it has its power and beauty, plus we live in
an age of music that is mental and powerfull to the level of the universe in ideas, so no one for me can say that one style is beter than another,all have there own Charisma.

Dude!Yesterday I listened almost all the old stuff of Kox Box till The Great Unknown album.Now I see this post of you.No matter the music and electronic music production knowledge a man have,he can't compose Kox Box music (espesually with "one finger"  ) with the same madness and this unique otherworldy feeling.You have to be Frank'e and Ian Ion to do that..Even Frank'e can't compose the same stuff alone,without Ian Ion and the opposite!The original Kox Box sound is alchemy and only 2 persons in this planet know the recipe 
As for the Greek artists,as many said I can count only Wizzy Noise on the supreme league of quality artists..Even I prefer their older sound,the darker,the technoish If we can talk and about different music styles,Gabriel Mastichidis aka Gabriel Le Mar who lives in Germany is one of the finest producers of dub/tech sound and chill out music,George Delkos,Echonomist,Direct Connection,Airbus Modular are some of them
