In that descending order, are the five that will be remembered. They have each pioneered their own vision, created something new with their own unique blend of sounds, their music has stood the test of time so far, and they have done it better than the countless immitators out there. Koxbox, Astral Projection, and Vibrasphere will perhaps be remembered as well for the same reasons - but their shelf-life has proven to be shorter, and there are a few newer artists which may or may not prove themselves over time.
Of these, in the past decade, Simon Posford has released the three Shpongle albums, the two Younger Brother albums, and has been a part of many other projects, as well as doing a brilliant job in defining the Twisted Records sound - while keeping away from the trends of the scene. Give the man the respect he deserves, no other artist has done nearly as much in the last ten years (in the psytrance scene). |

how can none of you state cosma as a project that will be remembered? he had a very unique atmosphere to almost all his tracks - i hardly heard anything as complete as his albums from any artist altho there are some good contenders - but still very few artists have managed to create such an atmosphere around their tracks like cosma did - and as a proof cosma (may he rest in peace) hasnt been with us for 6 years and still people are reminiscing his masterpieces... think about it...
