Have you heard the Fungus Funk remix of Prodigy? I am not sure which Prodigy track it is but it rocks! Fungus Funk knows how to make seriously good tracks.

noone of Skazi's FungusFunk's or Eskimo's done good remix just shit that unfit the vibe of original .............
listen to prof remixes like Timo Maas to Depeche Mode or Depeche Mode - Halo remixes and then understand what is remix ? and how it need to be done ? |

Gotta agree with Sektor666 here. I don't think there are any real good psytrance artists out there who have succesfully mixed regular trance /techno or other songs. Now if we're talking Markus Schulz, Timo Maas, Sander Kleinenberg and Junkie XL for example, those guys know how to do it. Check out Dave Gahan's Dirty Sticky Floors (Junkie XL Vocal Mix) ... that shows remixing to the max... Or check out what Markus Schulz did to Dido's track... hehehe

my oppinion is that they luck inspiration and creativity i heard some psy voodoo people remixes and it sounded the same track with some kick and bassline addition and nothing more not good man not good att all
for my thinking is to take the basic idea of the track and make something new out of it with new sounds and new structure so it can be something new and different from the original and not the original with a kick and bass
i hope not to offend anybody its just my opinion
stick to make new things and dont try to serve as last days reheated spaghetti they dont taste so good
but iff somebody wants to eat them have a nice appetite i will pass better stay hungry because i eated yesterday the fresh made ones
i hope you get my point

I'm listening Eskimos remix of the VP right now and I think its pretty good. From the dj's perspective its good since you can give the people something old and secure plus new and exiting at the same time.
I'd like to hear the song at a party.

First time i heard Eskimo - Voodoo People (psymix) I was at my first Infected Mushroom gig .. (Copenhagen 2003  ) When IM had finished off theyr set... There was a really old man with beard and stuff comming up to the decks... I was under the influences of hasj, X and Speed, so i was really trippin'... All the sudden i hear this great sound.. what do you know.. Its Prodigy - Voodoo People.. Wow.. i thought it was great.. But.. what do you know again.. it was a psytrance mix.. wOw.. i was stunned.. how could this old man play this kinda crazy music.. Its been about a year now.. And i am beginning to doubt.. Was the DJ an old man with beard and stuff... or was i just trippin'...?
