The problem of to much intellectual talk about spiritual things

I realize, that lots of people tend to be too theoretic in spiritual things. For sure a certain amount of theoretical insight in certain techniques e. g. is very important, but I realize more and more, that I and also lots of other people seem to talk / discuss / think more about it, then actually do the practice.
Maybe not so much a topic of discussion  , more a topic of saying "don`t forget to practice, what you think is good"

Yep, at times there is too much knowledge discussion since it is available second hand and less of meditation which will actually take you there. |

Yeah, and the strange thing for me is, that this usually happens in times, whhere i would need my meditaion most. In times, when everything is fine, no problem to do my meditation, but as soon as things start to get lil more difficult I reduce my meditation.
I deff. have to work on changing that habit. |

yeh people read too much and then compare one person's work with anothers...and thats when they get obessed with comparing rather than experiencing...and then they talk about what one guru said and how it is different...u need to stick to one guru...its like they go shopping for spirituality...yes its possible to do it that way but then these fleshy edible subjects become food for thought

completely agree one should stick to the way one is receptive.Looking around for thousands ways or comparing .. this is the wrong way imo.This is no competition.
If you know it is your way then its ok no need to prove sth,convince others etc ,or you have not understand much.
Keep it for yourself or share it with open minded or seekers or welcoming spirits.
And I agree with all this theories,prooves etc..the more complex they get the more they do not interest me or not convincing me
My guru convicned me throu crylstalclear simplicity.
i am also a spirit with lack of discipline,but thats my path i have chosen,maybe only for now.I think when gettin a bit older i will dive even much more into it.Nevertheless i feel great cosmic gratitude for havin the ability to meditate and dive into calm peace to sharpen my senses to feel universal love and states like that.To shine could be all more regular though ^^
