The first time I heard The Overlords - Moontrap was in 1989, Goa, India! And it brings back old memories indeed, I can't believe how much time has passed!
However to really go to the beginnings of Goa (1987 and before) and trance I recommend

Thinking about it, Moontrap was also around 87 I think. Remember, they played those tracks waay before they were actually released...
