The party in Machon 3...

The party was very wierd, i mean, the music was awsome, GuyShanti did what he was suppsed 2 do, and he ROCKED!!!!! Guy, u played a track by Evil Drug Lords, that had a sample that just made me Crazy.....
Then Lsih came up, and they started their set pretty awful with a very monotonus track that no 1 understood (great track though) but then they've understood what they have done so they changed a track and their set started pumping - Its the 3rd time i hear them in a party, and they never let me down....
But the party was very lame, the people were wierd, i didnt really understand all the people there, i cant explain. But the thing that really was the worst part was that there was no Vibe in the party, the "Human heat" that usually happens naturally by people who dance just didnt happen, the place was cold (eventhough it was indoor) and not fun......
On a scale of 1-10 i would give this party 6 (Only because of the music......)

as you said guy kenneth
worse weekend for israeli trance scene , closed or bad parties .
But i hope we will see the light at the end of the tunnel .

Dont get me wrong... Lish gave a great set... great music... but they did some mistakes... Hey, but who am i 2 speak? they Play every week - I pay lots of money 2 go 2 parties! |

one of the problems in the trance scene is that musicians are required to also master DJing skills - LISH is an act, not a DJ. its true that they have some need in practice, but I think that in their case the idea is to experience their music, not their DJing skills.
and I agree with you Guy about the vibe (or lack of it). I cant explain it - the ppl are really nice, the place is safe (although the sound suxx), deco was good, and for a line up like this it was fucking cheap! (I really dont understand ppl who try to get in for free when the price was lowered to 50 nis - the promoters has to cover the expences, dont you think?).
dunno. but it was fun though, playing with Guy B2B for fun only. good to see you all again ppl.

well , what can i say?
it wasn`t the worst party i`ve been to in machon 3.
it started with nice ppl and became uglier as usual.
guy and tal were awsome even tough it`s not my taste...
lish realy disappointed me ... only half way through theyr`e set i started to enjoy it, and not to much i must say. the whole night was to minimalisstic 4 me... (i would have killed for a melody). it was fun to dance out in the yard (more room, less faces,etc.) i had a good time despite all. and met some ppl i haven`t seen in a long time. but the worst part was diablo.... i came back in after a walk outside and found myself surrounded by a few grannies ( u know: im lesafta hayu galgalim....) and realy realy shitty music, man u finally hear a melody and it`s nitshonot... it was eyal barkan like... i ran away as fast as i could.... anyway if it keeps up like this one day maybe i`ll even attened a realy good party at machon 3 .... and maybe not!
anyway the best part was the most beautiful sunrise...
have fun ppl.

oh yeah.guy&tal back2back that was fun indeed.
was the coolest part of the party imho.guy played a track there i realy liked i dont know the track's name but heard it every party last few months,the problem with me i was too emberaced2ask 'cause of a past incident with a not so nice[¬ so professional]dj...anyway shay played green show&it was REALY cool[but i think auspexx is right about the act/dj isue].
p.s:i wont write what i thought about diablo because.............................

One thing that i have to say.
I've never been to that "Machon 3", but no one has written any good thing in its whole about this place...
Its like i'm getting the feeling of, why going there if i always hear that this place sucks.

best party I've been to in Machon 3 so far. not the best but its getting there. still waiting for the BIG one to take place in the inner yard.

Guy - this was Shanti's set, I just came as a friend and we had a good time together. Guy dictated the line and I simeply tried to follow - all credits are his, man. Guy, I really enjoyed the musical line and we certainly should do this again sometimes.
Hope to see more parties in there, there's a huge potential there for ppl with open mind and free thought (stop expecting Huga every party you go to, maybe you will start enjoying your parties more?!..)
