Yes, I know... thanks. That is what I'm going to do probably.

Cheers !

sure they 'be got us hooked with the big names and all but is it any good ? seems a bit measly only letting you listen to one track or have I missed something - some proper samples surely should be mandatory ...

Interesting idea but that video sounds pretty dull, david gilmour jamming on kick drum. Hope it will be better than that

slightly off topic -

Maybe anyone knows what's that digital recorder being used in video @ countryside ?

For quite a while have been thinking of getting something like that to record ambient sound @ nature/city. so far people have been recommending getting a mini-disc + decent mic, and reviews of most digital recorders were suggesting the same.

Maybe the one in the video is finally a decent one ?

Curious to hear what will come out from this collaboration.

I'd love to hear that they are also able to get out of their
own characters/careers, to merge properly into a new sound.
But anyway will be fun.. look at them and how they look like..
They're having great time! funny!

There's also an introductive video on the amazon page
http://www.amazon.com/Metallic-Spheres-featuring-David-Gilmour/dp/B003YWUTKM

didn't hear anything before about the 3d60 music project, but after checking the listenable demo on their page,
well.. with the appropriate music would be a nice experience i guess.

Maybe with this album it's worth it!

Where is the video recorded anyway?

Anyone knows? The studio looks like a very
tasy middle way between the advanced technical equipment
and the intention to live a life very close to the nature.

Hm, very curious about the 3D60 sound... I tried it on the 3D60 demo site, and it surely sounds different, interesting.

I hope this album is worthy of the technology and vice versa. In that case a really nice experience might be created..

This does sound interesting but I am nervous that I will end up crushingly disappointed. I dropped out of the mainstream names genre about six years ago and so far nothing has inspired me to go back.

I wonder if they will release a true surround disk? - my new car has an awesome surround rig that would suit it.

Sadly "crushingly disappointing" about sums it up for me after a couple of listens. Just really doesn't seem to go anywhere interesting

Most of the reviews I've read so far have been not so full of praise. Definitely going to try before I commit to buy.
