the gathering is the best old school infected sound that i imagine when i first heard the magical name...
but i liked even more some trakcs they released on compilations before the gathering!

Old IM Albums - Rocks
New IM Album - Rocks.....but the psychedelic thingy has gone....sounds very commercial with over done vocals by **** ....... amazin clean production though ....
btw i do like commercial stuff so still like IM music but as i said cant call it psychedelic trance anymore.....

i think their old tracks (classical mushroom and tracks made before it) are truly masterpieces and gems and milestones and WHATEVER in the psytrance.
acid killer is the track that got me into trance
tommy the bat, return of the shadows,bust a move,symphonatic... all the classics are great (almost all of them)

By far off the Old Style in Infected was holy now it's just materialistic commercial sounds...They are musically amazing but unfortunately got carried away for money like many of the others...IM You were special before and you can still be just let your soul back in the music please!

@ganjagil: But they have put their soul in their music and have ended up in this pathway. That YOU call them commercial doesn't make them so.
Personally, I don't hear them on the radio anywhere so to me they're absolutely NOT commercial. I don't even find their sound to BE commercial.
Anyway, ontopic: I love it that Infected still manages to suprise me. To me, that is what makes a good musician. To be able to suprise you. People that stand still don't end up anywhere. Check out Alien Project's style. He is still the same after all these years. No change at all, which makes his albums less interesting to me. And to be perfectly honest I really like Infected's new style. The Gathering didn't really separate them from the other full on crowd at the time. Classical Mushroom was a lot better, and BP Empire remains their best work to date IMO.

The Gathering: the best psy:album imho
and still verrry playable!
Classical: their best psymphonic:album imho
after that, only 'Dancing with Khadafi' gave me the goosebumps.
& Hod, speaking of 'Acid killer',
what about 'Small Moves' (one of my pers.favs)
or cooperations like 'Scotch', with Domestic
and 'My Mummy said .. ', with Deedrah
all very nice tracks and like certain wines,
they get better the longer they ripe
